Born May 3, 1933 in Spencer, Indiana to Orville and Ethel Edwards; after her father passed away her mother moved with Mary and her sister Anita to California in 1943. Mary worked in their candy stores, and when they were sold she became a full-time housewife and a fabulous cook.
Predeceased by her parents; brothers Wayne and Andy; sister Anita; sons Pete, Ron, and Rick. She is survived by her husband Philip; son Don; granddaughters, grandsons, great granddaughters, and great grandsons. A wonderful wife and mother, her life was her family and cooking. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
A gathering of family & friends will be held at White & Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach on Thursday April 8, 2010 from 6 to 9pm. The Service will be held on the next day at 11am. Burial will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.
