

After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Pamela Ann Erbeck joined her parents in eternal rest on November 20, 2025. She was 80 years old.
Born on May 2, 1945, Pamela lived a vibrant life filled with travel, sports, and cherished time with family and friends. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s degree in Sports from California State University, Long Beach.
For over 25 years, Pamela worked at Inglewood High School, where she taught Physical Education, Math, and Spanish. A dedicated and passionate volleyball coach, she led the girls’ volleyball team to several CIF championships, leaving a lasting legacy of mentorship and achievement.
In retirement, Pamela continued to embrace her love of adventure, traveling across the United States with friends and creating new memories along the way.
Pamela is survived by her sister, Linda Herbert; niece, Laurel Tennant; nephew, Mark Herbert; and her grand nieces and nephews, of whom she was incredibly proud; and her lifelong friend, Kathleen Behen. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her commitment to her students and athletes, and her joyful spirit that touched all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on January 24, 2026, at 10:00 am at Lighthouse Memorials & Receptions, Rice Center, located at 5310 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, California followed by a Reception until 1:00 pm.
