Graves, Patricia Age 74, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital after a sudden serious illness. Born in Lynden, WA and a graduate of Washington High School, Western Washington College and received a Masters in Education from Loyola Marymount University. Pat was a teacher for forty years teaching at U.S. Airforce bases in Newfoundland, Germany , France, England and Japan. Also taught in Palos Verdes and finishing her career in Lawndale teaching intermediate school. Pat has been active at St. Lawrence Martyr Church in the Resurrection Choir, Bereavement committee and the Stephen Ministry. Pat was a docent at the Western Museum of Flight, Southern California Historical Aviation Society. She is survived by sister, Margaret (Stephen) Smith of Palos Verdes Estates; four nieces: Susan Canning, Sara Kutler, Anne Yee, Julia Carroll; one nephew: Stephen Smith Jr.; and fifteen loving grand nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be Thursday, October 21, 2004 at 7PM at St. Lawrence Martyr Church, Redondo Beach with reception to follow.
