Patricia Jeanne Stadler

Patricia Jeanne Stadler passed away on August 19, 2012. Born March 10, 1945 to Edward and Mary Lindsey, Pat moved to Manhattan Beach at age two. She lived there for the rest of her life with her husband of 45 years, David, and her two daughters, Michelle and Amy. She poured her heart and soul into caring for her family. She volunteered in the school library, served as a scout leader, was on the PTA, and spent time making dinners for the homeless as well as often playing thoughtful and loving host to her family. Before she was a mother, she thoroughly enjoyed working at May Company, Continental Airlines, and the City of Los Angeles. She was the center of her family's world and will be achingly missed. She is survived by her husband, David, daughters Michelle Biggam (Jeff) of Redondo Beach and Amy Hageman (Tim) of Manhattan Beach, granddaughters Kyra and Katey Biggam and Marissa and Ella Hageman, brothers Steve Lindsey and Dennis Lindsey and many family members and friends. The service will be held at Rice Mortuary on Friday, August 24 at 4:00 p.m. with reception to follow in Rice's Lighthouse Reception Room. Casual aloha attire is requested as comfort was one of Pat's greatest concerns. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Best Friends Animal Society at bestfriends.org.
