There are so many memories but, I fondly remember my dad taking us out of school and playing hooky. He would just show up out of the blue and pick us up. Sometimes he would take us to Disneyland or to our G'ma's in San Diego. We just thought that was the coolest thing...and so did our friends. He was a wonderful father and will be loved forever. He's now at peace with his maker and walking side by side with Mark Allen.

I will never forget my uncle Ray, I remember the first time I met him and Auntie. They were both so sweat.   Over the years I got to know my uncle, I will always remember, he would try to help me anyway that he could and was always there when I needed to talk and he would listen. I loved sitting in the kichen with him in the morning drinking our cofee, and he would be doing the puzzle in the newspaper, just talking and waiting on Auntie to get up to have breakfast.I will cherish my memoies of my Uncle as long as I live, there will always be a place in my heart for my Uncle Ray I loved him so much. My Father had a few sayings that seem to echo in our home.       Close the Door    Whereâ€™s my tools    Donâ€™t let the dog out    Heâ€™s not going to pass me    You can do anything you set your mind to    Thatâ€™s not burned its BBQâ€™d    OK    SO SO    Pretty Good          Daddy loved to Travel on long vacations to visit family back east.        From: 18 wheels and Donkey Baseball     To: The Motor home and Eagle Lake      He loved Woodworking and was truly the child of a Jewish Carpenter.       From: 5 to 3 Fingers    To: A house full of handmade with Love heirlooms.      He was also one of the original Computer Gamers. He was fascinated with the technology and loved to tinker with the system as much as play the games.       From: PAC Man and PONG    To: Tiger woods Golf. And a hole in one      We were blessed with my fathers photography skills and have a lifetime of memories in the family albums.       From: The homemade darkroom on Wall street     To: A digital camera in his top pocket      Daddy also had a love for food and entertainment. Family nights out were common.       From: Dominickâ€™s, Latitude 20, Shakeyâ€™s (with a bicycle          built for two) and Apolloâ€™s with Pastrami dipped and extra          mustard.    To: Dinners at Aunt Lindaâ€™s and Grandma and Grandpaâ€™s          with the family      My father was a devout sportsman       From: Coach Father for me and Mark. â€œJust keep your eye          on the ball", heâ€™d say.    To: Coach Nettleton, Nina Kelly, Normandale Park and                 Rigbyâ€™s with Grandma and Grandpa Bradley    From: An almost perfect Bowling game    To: 3 of 5 fingers.      Heâ€™s been described as a cat with nine lives. Or as he said â€œJust Blessedâ€       From :911 Motorcycle down in Gardena    To â€œYour Lung Cancer is gone , Thank you Jesusâ€       My father was a true caretaker for his family. And he showed it in many ways. He never seemed to tire of caring and helping.       From: Caretaker of his Lover and Friend, my mother     To: His prayers for us all to stay close to God.      Most of All. My Father loved the Lord and wasnâ€™t afraid to tell others of the miracles that he received.      Daddy- Your Linage will continue thru your children and grandchildren. Grandpa my Grandpa      I love you so much.  You asked me why    I loved you so much but I think anyone that knows you knows why.      I was kind of an adopted granddaughter of yours but no matter what you were always my grandpa and Zoey and Aavrie great- grandpa.  I love you and will miss you dearly.  I am glad you are at peace and you finally caught a breath of fresh air.         I Love You   Kelly

My brother,      Who is my brother?   The answer is simple.... Ray      Ray and I were very close.  He was my big brother!      We played together, checkers, chess, pinnacle, cribbage, hearts, and spades.    He was my big brother!      We played Kick the Can, Hide and Seek, Tag, Follow the Leader, Softball.  He was my big brother!      Once while playing follow the leader.  I was the leader, and decided to climb a trellis with Ray right behind me, the trellis shook and I fell, and broke my arm.  He was my big brother!      We shined shoes, delivered pamphlets, caddied, collected coke bottles and set pins in the bowling alley for spending money.  He was my big brother!      He had a paper route, and I would help fold and deliver papers.  He was my big brother!      We went to Saturday matinees and saw movies together.  He was my big brother!      We fought at the dinner table, to see who would get the last drumstick, or the last spoonful of potatoes. He was my big brother!      We sat around and had many discussions, about almost everything ... life, ...sports, ...God.   He was my big brother!      We skipped Sunday school together so he could see his girlfriend Joanie.  He was my big brother!      Never was there a friend so dear to me than Ray. He was my big brother!      He is now with Jesus.  He was and always will be my big brother!
