Roberta Pauline Tucker

Roberta Pauline Tucker left this life at her home with her husband and sons at her side on March 10, 2018. She was born on January 3, 1933 to Robert and Blanche Christiansen Wayman in Castle Dale, Utah. She married Vardell Tucker on March 3, 1949. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Leon, Movell, Max, Bert, Clyde, Lloyd and sisters, Udella, and Lois. She leaves behind her husband Vardell, two son, Vance Vardell (Cathy) and Richard Wayne (Audrey), eight grandchildren Casey (Brian) Curran, Carrey (Chad) Brown, Monte (Jessica), Benjamin (Cami), Seth (Chantel), Danielle Arter, Erin (Ben) Justesen and Jesse (Camry), 38 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline was a longtime resident of Gardena (El Camino Village). Moving to Southern California in 1951.Pauline retired from Hughes Aircraft after 37 years of service. Pauline and Vard loved to travel in their motorhome and visit many places, especially traveling with family and to visit family. She loved her family and attending as many family activities as possible. Pauline also enjoyed finding out about those family members who went on before.

Funeral services will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 14801 Osage Ave, Lawndale, California starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery in Rolling Hills.

The family expresses a special thanks to those who have assisted in providing such wonderful care for Pauline for the past several years. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made to an Alzheimer related charity.
