Ronald Cy Gostel

Ronald Cy Gostel of Long Beach, CA passed away in Torrance, CA on February 5th, 2025 at the age of 73. Ron is survived by his two children Kevin and Jason, two grand-children Gotham and Faron, his sister Julianna, nephews, nieces as well as cousins.

He was preceded in death by Janine Gostel, his loving spouse. Ron and Janine had an unconditional love for each other that was unbreakable, and they shared their love with their children. Ron's favorite hobby is fishing, he'd fish anywhere they were biting no matter if it was a lake, river or the ocean. Ron always had energy for his family too; despite working two jobs he would always be there for any sport games or events that his children had. Ron was a talented guitar player and even performed on the Ed Sullivan Show. Along with his love for music, Ron was also very artistic and enjoyed everything from painting to sketching, he would even draw cartoons on the lunch bags which his kids took to school. Ronald will be missed enormously by his family and loved ones.

A visitation for Ronald will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lighthouse Memorials & Receptions, 5310 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 5310 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503. A reception will occur Monday, February 24, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 5310 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503.
