Rosa V. Hernandez

Rosa V. Hernandez, a life long resident of Inglewood California, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 6, 2020 in Los Angeles, California. Born in August, 1951 in a small town called Ignacio Allende, Durango, Mexico,  Rosa was 69 years old when she left us.

Rosa was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her kind heart would enlighten all who met her. She enjoyed family gatherings and cooking her traditional mexican dishes. She had a great passion for gardening, her favorite flower was the rose like her name. She was a long time parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic church which is where her services will be held.

Rosa is survived by and leaves many to cherish her memory especially her daughters Nancy Ortiz, Alejandra Villanueva and son Alfredo Arciniega Jr., Life Partner Alfredo Casillas and her sons-in-law, Marco Ortiz and Oscar Villanueva. Her five grandchildren Antonio Torres, Celeste Torres, Giuliana Ortiz, Adriana Ortiz and Benjamin Villanueva will miss her dearly. Rosa also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Services will be private.

Thank you to all our family and friends for the outpouring of love and support during this time of sorrow.  Our hearts are with you.  Rosa was deeply loved, and her “light” will be missed by all.
