RUBY WORKMAN...Profession: Teacher...Calling & Gift: Prayer and Wisdom.
She is a walking, talking element of doing the inconceivable in life. She taught school in Logan, W.V. from 1944 - 1964, and then moved to Torrance with her family. She taught school at North High in Torrance from 1964 - 1984. She is well acquainted with pain, suffering, loss, and the abiding presence of the Lord in her life. It is not what she did in life as much as how she did it. She did it ;through the avenue of love, compassion, patience, and prayer. Throughout her life she has depended upon the Lord for each new day. Many of the things that have taken place in her life have been inconceivable. She never started out in that direction, with that goal or idea. Many of the things she did intend to do, but ran into many obstacles on her journey. In all of this she has become a great prayer warrior for the Lord, and has a powerful ministry through prayer every day of her life.''
