1947 – 2017
Sandra was a kind and gentle lady, who enriched the life of everyone who knew her. She lived her early years in England where for 10 years she was a beloved teacher of German and French . She moved to the US with her husband in 1981 and moved to Palos Verdes, CA in 1988. She was a loyal and nonjudgmental friend. An avid animal lover and activist, she cared deeply about our planet and the damage we are doing to the environment. She was at her happiest riding the trails of the city in which she lived. Sandra served the wider community by volunteering at Torrance Memorial Medical Center for 27 years. For the last thirteen years of her life she fought, with great dignity and courage, an extraordinary battle to keep an aggressive cancer at bay, yet lived a full and happy life. Sandi was the loving partner and best friend of her husband Martin for nearly 50 years. Sandra is greatly missed and she will be remembered forever.
