Sr. Patricia Arnold

Arnold, Sister Patricia C.S.J., passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 in Los Angeles, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet since March 19, 1949. Sister Patricia taught in elementary schools for 5 years and then at Bishop Conaty High School for 5 years. She then studied in Chicago where she received a doctorate in counseling psychology. She then joined the faculty at Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles where she taught Psychology and later became the personnel director. From 1989 to 2009 she ministered at St. Mel's Parish in Woodland Hills where she was the coordinator of pastoral care. Sister Patricia is preceded in death by parents, Frederick and Nonie Arnold, sisters, Sr. Noreen Patricie Arnold C.S.J., Mary Ashcraft, and Carol Davison, Survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. The first Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 7PM at St. Mel's, Church, 20870 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills, CA 91364. The next day, November 28, 2012, Vigil Services at 430PM and Funeral Mass at 7PM both at Carondelet Center, 11999 Chalon Road, Los Angeles, CA . Graveside Service will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 10AM in Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, CA.
