Stephen Francis Bowman (Steve), passed away peacefully at home on September 1, 2008 after an unfortunate battle with cancer; he was 56.
Steve, who grew up in Torrance, attended St. Lawrence Martyr School, graduated from Bishop Montgomery High School and attended El Camino College. He was a successful businessman and entrepreneur, having owned and operated Village Spirit Liquor store in Redondo Beach, and later Best Protective Coatings, Inc.. Steve enjoyed traveling the world, visiting his brother on Guam, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Steve is survived by his wife of 34 years, Melinda, three children Nicholas (Karenia), Christopher (Meghan), and Elizabeth Bowman, and soon to arrive Grandson Aidan.
Services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, September 6, at 10:00 AM
