Susan Shigeko Imamura, a long time resident of Torrance, CA passed away on December 17th, 2009 at Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Torrance, CA. Susan was born in Honolulu, HI on January 18th, 1949 and has resided in the Los Angeles area for the last 39 years.
Susan was a proud graduate of Castle High School in Kaneohe, HI and worked in the Community Development Department of the City of Gardena, CA for over 20 years. She was a loving, helpful, creative and supportive person who had many friends.
She is survived by her husband Bernie, daughters Anne and Alison, mother Misao Aoki, sisters Janice, Joyce and brother Gordon. A private celebration of her life will be held with family and friends.
