Thelma ''T.J.'' J. Turner

Turner, Thelma ''TJ'' a 54 year resident of The South Bay passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2005 in Torrance. She was born in Minerva, OH, December 14, 1919. Thelma was a licensed Real Estate Broker and 1959 President of the Women's Division of the Torrance Lomita Board of Realtors. She owned and operated Turner Real Estate & Investments in Torrance and Redondo Beach from 1962 to 1995. She is survived by Daughter, Patricia (Leroy) Poulin of Monument, CO; Son, Mickey (Monica) Turner of Redondo Beach, CA, Son, Robert Turner of Tehachapi, CA, Granddaughter, Leanna Poulin, Grandson, Marshall Poulin, Granddaughter, Alisa Turner, Granddaughter, Amber Turner, Grandson, Lance Turner, Granddaughter, Michelle Turner, Grandson, Mitchell Turner, Grandson, Thadd Turner. Preceded in death by: Father, Allton Jones and Mother, Sylvia Newcomer. Visitation with a gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, April 27, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at White and Day's Colonial Mortuary, 901 Torrance Blvd. in Redondo Beach. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 415 Vincent Street in Redondo Beach. Burial will follow with procession to Green Hills Memorial Park in Ranch Palos Verdes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach.
