Thomas James Zondiros

Thomas James Zondiros, a 12-year resident of Hermosa Beach, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Tom was born in Bridgeport, CT, graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in civil engineering, and moving to the South Bay in 1992. For the past 11 years, Tom successfully ran Zondiros Corporation, a general contracting company specializing in pipeline projects. Tom was a loving husband, an adoring father and an incredibly positive role model. He was an avid skier and loved the outdoors. With his boundless energy and good nature, Tom became an integral part of the South Bay community, and particularly loved his years spent coaching soccer in AYSO. Tom will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.

Tom is survived by his Wife, Barbara Reidy Zondiros, Daughters, Amanda and Alexa Zondiros, Mother, Martha O'Brien of Hermosa Beach, CA, Father, George Zondiros of Saugus, MA, and Sister, Diane Zondiros of Bayville, NJ. A celebration of Tom's life will be held at American Martyrs Church on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. A reception will follow at the Blue Water Grille in Redondo Beach.
