Victoria Lynn Dante passed from this world suddenly on November 17th at the age of 53. She was born Victoria Ashford in Bakersfield, California on August 28, 1956. She grew up in the San Gabriel Valley where she graduated from Baldwin Park High in 1974. She met Steve Jones in 1973 and they were married in 1974. They moved to Redondo Beach in 1982. Victoria was a caring and devoted mother to their two children, Keith and Ryan Jones, and a joyous, conscientious homemaker, at times working outside of the house for the City of Redondo Beach and the Palos Verdes Library District. Her boundless charm, radiant smile, and caring and compassionate ways will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She applied herself to all she did and had a love for cooking, movies, culture, horses, and sunsets. As well as her husband and two sons, Victoria is survived by her sisters, Karen and Carla, daughter-in-law, Kimberly, special family friends Brendan, Alex and Jordan, and her dog, Harley.
