Vincent ''Vince'' S. Celano

Celano, ''Vince'' Vincent S. a 43 year resident of Los Alamitos, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 in Anaheim. Born in Brooklyn, New York on May 20, 1929 Vincent was 74. Vincent was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Vincent was active in his community as past President of the Long Beach Life Underwriters Association, Los Alamitos Chamber of Commerce and an active member of First Friday Friars, Casa Youth Center, Los Alamitos Museum and the Los Alamitos Youth Center. He is survived by daughter, Karin (Tony) Palagyi and grandson, Alex Palagyi all of Snohomish, WA; brother, Reverend Leo John Celano, O.Praem. of Silverado, CA. Also left to mourn his passing is long time companion Tricia Dingman. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 4th from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the White and Day Colonial Mortuary in Redondo Beach. A Vigil service will be follow at 7:00PM at St. Hedwig Catholic Church 11482 Los Alamitos Blvd. Los Alamitos, CA 90720. Mass will be held Wednesday, May 5th at 10:00AM at the church with intombment to follow at All Souls Catholic Cemetery in Long Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Stevens Covenant Church Children's Ministries, 10320 20th St. SE, Everett, WA 98205.
