DuVall, Walter Berns, a lifetime resident of the South Bay, passed away on Saturday April 2, 2011 in Harbor City. Born in San Pedro, CA Walter was 67. A retired Plumbing Supervisor for the LA Harbor Department, Walter was a Navy veteran, avid fisherman and diehard sports fan to his grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Fred and Marjorie DuVall and sister Linda Russell. Beloved husband Walter is survived by his wife of 44 years Diane; sons Brad (Lori) and Jeff (Candice); grandchildren Courtney and Bradly; great granddaughter Mylee and brother Fred (Odie) Duvall of Phoenix. Services will be held at Ocean View Baptist Church in San Pedro, CA on Friday April 8, 2011 at 1:00pm.
