Ford, Warren E., of Redondo Beach, passed away February 21, 2003 in a Torrance hospital. He was born October 21 1929 at Carney Point, NJ. and was the son of Ernest C. Ford and Helen L. Bartholomew. After graduating from Penns Grove, NJ. high school, he completed a B.S. degree in Chemistry at the Univeresity of Iowa, and a M.S. degree in chemistry at Western Illinois University. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Frances. After working as an analylical chemist in industry and photographic chemist for Warner Brothers Studios, he devoted 40 years of his life to education. He taught general college chemistry at El Camino College where he always strived to help his students to succeed. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 7, 2003, at the White & Day Colonial Mortuary in Redondo Beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the El Camino College Foundation, 16007 S. Crenshaw Blvd., Torrance, CA 90506.
