Craig A Mark

Craig A. Mark, 58, passed away on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012 at his home in Interlochen. Craig was born on Aug. 10, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Harry and Frankie (Murrow) Mark. He graduated from high school in 1972 and was married to his loving wife, Susan (Strathman) Mark, on Dec. 24, 1974. They moved to the Traverse City area in 1978 where Craig worked for Sara Lee for 32 years. Craig was a family-man and a loyal employee. He was a very supportive husband and father, and enjoyed fishing and drinking beer.

Craig made friends easily and will be missed by many people who love him dearly; his wife, Susan Mark; children, Nicolas (Kari) Mark and April Mark; grandchildren, Ian, Austin, Jack, and Harrison Mark, and Gabriel Findley; siblings, Ron (Linda) Mark, Janice (Tony) Anthony, and Carolyn VanDeCroal; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Craig in death are his parents and brother-in-law, Claren VanDeCroal.

Family and friends are encouraged to Celebrate Craig’s Life on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 from 1 until 3 pm at the Elks Lodge in Traverse City.
