Josephine Kmotorka-Harris

Josephine married Charlie Kmotorka in 1962. Together they raised six children. Josephine loved gardening, and canning. She was an exceptional cook, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her free time, she liked to watch the cardinals outside. Josephine may have been a tiny woman, but she had a huge spirit and had immense strength.

Josephine is survived by her brother Bulter (Ann) Robinson, children Bobby (Cheryl) Qualls, Chris (Joan) Kmotorka, Katherine Kmotorka, Melissa (Mike) Kerby, Jon Kmotorka, grandchildren Tina Kmotorka, Stephanie (Freddy) Sanchez, Charlie LaBreck, Adam LaBreck, Jake Kerby, Jennifer (Vaughn) Knapp, JuliAnne Kerby, great-grandchildren Layla, Julien, Samantha, Kian, Kaydance, Alexis LaBreck and beloved dog Miloh. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charlie, two sisters and one brother, daughter Martha Qualls, and granddaughter Jalynn Rose Kerby.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 29, 2013 from 4 to 7pm at Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday March 30, 2013 at 11am with visitation one hour prior at Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City. Burial will take place after the service at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens in Traverse City. Memorial contributions may be directed to Buckley Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Buckley.
