Mrs. Margaret Franklin

Margaret Franklin, 96, of Traverse City passed away peacefully, Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Munson Medical Center. She was born January 11, 1920. Margaret was born and raised in Alligator Mississippi. She accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at an early age. She later met and married Jesse Franklin. To this union, 11 children were born.

Family members who will cherish her memory include, Rose Lee of Clarkston, MI, Margaret Pasbjerg of Buckley, MI, Mary Franklin of Grawn, MI, Minnie Franklin of Los Angeles, CA, Sarah Rawlin of Los Angeles, CA, Clarence Franklin of Los Angeles, Jesse Franklin of Milwaukee, WI, Leandrew Goodman of Indianapolis, IN, Bernice Goodman of Indianapolis, IN, Katie Goodman of Indianapolis, IN, and Ruby Goodman of Indianapolis, IN; 40 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 25 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A going home celebration for Margaret will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1 pm at the Cornell Community Church in Buckley. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley.
