Sally Miller Calhoun

She graduated from Redford High and attended Michigan State where she met Robert Calhoun. Sally and Bob were married in 1948 and lived in Royal Oak and then Orchard Lake. Bob was transferred to Florida in 1987 and they moved to Juno Beach. After Bob passed away, Sally moved, in 2002, to Traverse City to be closer to her family. She lived at Glen Eagle for 12 years.

Sally loved to ski and play tennis and was an excellent cook.

She is survived by her children Jill Kimble, Janis (Brian) Coughlin, Lee (David) Kane, and Scott Calhoun. She also had three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Laura Osborn and Kyle Hamilton for their friendship and care.

A private family service is being planned. Memorial contributions should be directed to the charity of one’s choice or the Cherryland Humane Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Traverse City.
