Mr. Peterson is survived by his spouse Barbara "Barbie" Fussell Peterson; Daughter, Chasity Ellis and husband Patrick; and grand-daughter, Phoebe Grace; Daughter, Keyra Bradley and partner Jason McCluskey; grand-children, Tristen and Addisen Brotherton; Son, Matthew Peterson; and grand-daughter Madelyn; Dog-Son Chip Peterson, Sister, Carole Aldridge and husband Chuck; Brother, Lee Peterson and spouse Brenda; Brother, Randy Peterson and spouse Nancy; Sister-in-law, Lee Fussell, and 2 best friends, Jimmy Oliver and Joe Culpepper. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Alan left behind many good friends and family, and he will be greatly missed.
Alan was a carpenter by trade most of his life and worked the last 15 years at Home Depot. His hobbies included wood working, collecting knives, good food and watching movies and You-Tube. He loved old westerns and all Marvel movies; anything action packed. He loved John Wayne, Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee and Elvis Presley. Most of all he loved God.
A memorial service for Alan will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home & Cremation, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084.
