He was born in Havana, Cuba the son of the late Augusto Lopez and Graciela Gomez.
He was an accountant for Sunflower Bakery. After retirement he worked for Publix.
He is survived by his cousin, Manuel Gonzalez, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at a later date.
