Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Theron Westbrook. Together they owned and operated the Cloverleaf Motel in Gatlinburg. When they sold the motel it became the Rocky Top Motel. They travelled extensively in their retirement.
Survivors include, nieces, Loretta (Thomas) Young of Gainesville, Barbara (Vernon) Duvall of Jefferson, Sandra Stanaland of Buford, Carol (Milton) Walker of Bel Air, Maryland, and Gloria Moore of Signal Mt.; nephews, Eugene Swann of McDonough, James Mark (Lynda) Swann of Franklin, NC; sister-in-law, Sara Jo Swann of Chattanooga; numerous great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Tues, Oct. 11 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Mr. Claude Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Research.
