Charles Robert McGivern, 79, passed away on January 22, 2014. Charles was born June 20, 1934 to the late Arthur and Regina McGivern in a small town near Pittsburgh, PA. He was a long time parishioner/member of Holy Cross Church, Fraternal Order of Elks & Eagle, and a retiree of Prentiss Hall Publishing. Charles was predeceased in death by sons, Charles, Arthur and Jack. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 57 years, Pauline Unglo McGivern and a loving host of family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home, visitation will be held 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Charles' honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
