He was born in Toledo, Oregon, the son of the late Stillman Frank and Wanda Girard Evans.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era and an umpire and official for various sports.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 16 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Atlanta.
Interment in Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Washington.
