Geneva “Jerri” Inscore Williamson passed away on December 3, 2017 at her home in Atlanta, surrounded by family. Jerri was born in Greeneville, Tennessee on June 5, 1928, the only child of Fannie Honeycutt Inscore and Taylor Virgil Inscore. Jerri grew up in Macon, Georgia and graduated from Mount de Sales Academy. She married Robert “Buddy” Lawrence Williamson in 1947, settling in Atlanta shortly after for his career with Georgia Power. Jerri and Buddy were married for over 50 years until his death in 1999. Jerri was predeceased by a son, Lawrence “Larry” Williamson. Jerri is survived by children Gail (Bob) Haubenestel and Lisa (Bill) Huggins; grandchildren Taylor (Laura) Huggins, Lucy (Brent) Ullrich, and Rachel (Frank) Sikora; great-grandchildren Arthur Ullrich and Frankie Sikora; cousins Wanda Miller and Charlie Honeycutt; and many lifelong friends. She was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church and the Seekers Sunday school class. Jerri will be remembered for her warmth and kindness, her charming sense of humor, her reciprocated love of children and animals, and her unwavering devotion to friends and family. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, December 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. The family will receive visitors immediately following the service. Floral Hills Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
