He was born in Atlanta, the son of the late Samuel Woodrow and Dorothy Dyer Mann.
Mr. Mann was a faithful member of Bethany Primitive Baptist Church for over 40 yrs.
He retired from the Department of Audits and Accounts for the State of Georgia.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Roberson Mann; his daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Larry Humphreys of Snellville, Debra and David Klingman of Monroe; his sister, Betty Herrington of Suwannee; his brother, Sam Mann of Alpharetta; his grandchildren, Victoria Mann, Kody Humphreys, and Makayla Humphreys.
There will be a Celebration of Life service on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 at 11 am in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home (formerly Bethany Primitive Baptist Church) with Bro. Gus Harter and Bro. Marty Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Wed. from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
