Julian F. Wagner Jr., age 72, departed this earth on Feb. 12, 2025, in Decatur, Ga. He leaves behind sons; Rick Wagner, Scott Wagner, Jack Wagner and Brendan Wagner. He is also survived by his Brother-in-law Fred Scannling as well as nephews; John and Paul Scannling.
Julian was born in Dublin, Ga. to Julian and Sara Wagner. After his family moved to Atlanta, he accepted a position with Southern Bell as a technician and held that position with their company over 30 years, despite the various name changes over the years.
He was a great man and a loving father, who enjoyed going to the beach, auto racing and had a deep passion for model railroading.
Visiting hours celebrating Julian’s life will be held Feb. 25TH 2025 between the hours of 2-4 pm in the Chapel at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Tucker, Ga. to give his friends and loved ones an opportunity to share memories and offer condolences to the family.
