Leonardo Cruz was born July 18, 1957 in Ahuactlan, Puebla Mexico. He was the son of Maria Antonia Francisca Cruz and Jose Agustin Cruz. Brother of Miguel, Norberto, Lucia y Silveria Cruz. At the age of 10, he moved to Tlaxcala, Mexico. While attending Secundaria Ethica 44, he met the love of his life Silvia Cruz.
After a few years of dating, they both decided to leave Mexico and move to the United States of America. Once settled down in Houston, Texas in 1978, Leonardo and Silvia Cruz got married. In 1979 their first child was born (Reyna) following the second child (Francis) in 1982.
In 1986 Leonardo moved his family to Atlanta, Ga. Their third child (Amanda) was born in 1990. Leonardo worked at RR Donnelly IPD for 18 years.
Leonardo was a very loving and devoted man to his family. A very proud Abuelito to Gerson, Raquel, Isabel and Adriana. Always showing with example how to live life to the fullest. Leonardo was very involved in church. His final goal was to move back to Mexico with his wife and continue preaching the word of God.
