Mable Lucille Smith Beaty 94, of Tucker, Georgia passed away on January 10, 2021. Lucy was born on December 23, 1926 in Milan, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Hobert and Josie Smith. Lucy was married to the late David Andrew Beaty for 62 years. David and Lucy lived in Tucker, Georgia since 1968. Lucy kept the household running during the children's many activities while her husband traveled frequently while working with Gerber Products company of Fremont, Michigan. For several years Lucy was the leader of the state of Georgia's Women's Missionary Society for the Church of God. Lucy also was a school bus driver for special education students in Dekalb County for many years. Lucy's Christian faith and loving personality was a warm ray of sunshine to those whose lives she touched through the years. Lucy is survived by daughter Jo Ann Beaty Kerr of Suwanee, GA, son David Lee and daughter-in-law Lynn Beaty of Dacula, GA , as well as grandchildren, Pam (Kyle) Davis, Jennifer Beaty, Tim Kerr, Matthew (Jesica) Beaty, and Kyle Beaty and two great-grand-children Lucy Joy Davis and Caleb Davis.
