

He was born in Wisconsin and moved to Atlanta as a child. He earned his degree in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech, then served in the Air Force where he earned a patent for one of his designs.
Robin was a true renaissance man. In 1988, he, along with two other GT grads formed their own company, Telesync, where he designed telecommunications equipment.
He was a devoted church member, singing in the choir for over 60 years, served as a Stephen minister, President of Lutheran Men in Mission and three different church councils. Robin was active in his community. He ushered and built sets at the Plaza Arts Center and constructed the bluebird houses for the Butterflies and Blooms pollinator habitat. Some of his favorite hobbies included playing golf and classical guitar, reading, writing poetry, working crossword puzzles and tinkering in his garage. He loved living on the lake and hosting friends and family for a long weekend usually starting it off with a grand slam breakfast. He was a connoisseur known for making beer and his signature 24 hour cocktail every Christmas.
He was preceded by his sister Laura, son, Loren and stepson Ian. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan, son, Leif (Sarah), daughter, Chrisa (Ryan), brothers Lawrence, Don, Jon and Kim, plus seven grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at Lake Oconee Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m. following visitation time from 9-11 a.m. in lieu of flowers, his family encourages love offerings to your charity of choice.
