Rodrigo A. Heagy

It is with great sadness that the family of Rod Heagy, born 2/15/1973, announce his passing. Rod left this life suddenly, 7/29/2023, leaving those that he had touched with the moments and memories of his spirit, kindness, humor and love.

Rod is survived by his mother, Eva Crow, and his sister Graziela Heagy.

Born a native of Brazil, Rod was a proud citizen of the USA. He had an unbridled vigor for life! He was generous, accepting people for exactly who they were. He was also adventurous and loving, with a marvelous sense of humor. Rod was intent and attentive in his friendships, love and daily life. Throughout his life, he was always passionate about learning, he was also self-reflective and had a deep understanding of who he was.

To those that knew him, Rod was a bright light. As a son and a friend, he brought love and delight in abundance, and in return his family and friends brought him great joy.

Rod was a man of convictions, although calm and fun in demeanor, inwardly Rod had incredible strength, he whole-heartedly made decisions and never wavered.

The family invites you to join them in celebrating his life ‘Rod Style’.

A visitation for Rodrigo will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
