He was born in Weirton, WV the son of the late Perry S. and Agnes Campbell Tarr.
Mr. Tarr retired from Nalco Chemical Co.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Tarr was a member of the Johns Creek United Methodist Church and the Druid Hills Golf Club.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Randy Nichols of Jones Creek and Cassie and Howard Battey of Andalusia, AL; three grandchildren, Jennifer Nichols, Morgen Battey Burnette, and Ryan Nichols.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Please visit our online tribute at www.floralhillsfuneral.com
