Dignity, elegance, courage, endurance, faith, hope, and strength are just some of the words that described La Verne Washington. Everyone who knew her can attest to the fact that she was a woman who would never step out of the house without everything coordinated and totally in place.
La Verne moved from Pasadena California to Santa Ana California in 1963 and united with Johnson Chapel A.M.E. Church under the administration of Rev. Ralph King where she served until she moved to Georgia in 2014. La Verne loved the Lord and knew Him as her personal Savior.
