Wendell Harry Bradford of Stone Mountain passed into the loving arms of God on Friday, February 12, 2021, just 18 days after his 92nd birthday. Wendell was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 25- 1929. He grew up in Decatur and graduated from Decatur Boys High School in 1947. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. After returning to Decatur he attended the Atlanta Division, University of Georgia (now Georgia State University) for 2 years working toward a BA in Business Administration. Realizing he did not like working in an office environment, he completed a course in electronics and television repair then started his own TV repair business from which he retired in 1990. On October 3, 1970, Wendell married Miss Diane Carrington of Decatur, and they celebrated their 50th anniversary in October 2021. They had no children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus Harry Bradford and Dessie Angeline Hinson Bradford of Decatur; his younger brother, Wayne Hinson Bradford of Monroe, Georgia; and Wayne’s youngest son. Steven Wendell Bradford of Honolulu, Hawaii. Wendell is survived by his wife, a sister, JoAnn Bradford Jarrell of Decatur; a nephew, Christopher Wayne Bradford of Waleska, Georgia; and a niece, Linda Jarrell Harrington of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Per his wishes, Wendell was cremated. No services are planned at this time.
