

Mrs. Wynelle Turner Frazier, 82, of Tucker, went home to be with the Lord Dec 2, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jack M Frazier, and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Rodney Longwell of Cumming, GA, one granddaughter, Amanda J Brand of Tucker GA, a step sister, Wilma Barlow of Douglasville GA, and numerous 1st cousins and family and friends who loved her dearly. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She graduated from Tucker High School in 1948 and was a gifted basketball player and cheerleader. She married her high school sweetheart Jack in 1950 and followed him to Ft Jackson in Columbia, SC in 1953. She worked for a number of years for Sears on Ponce De Leon Avenue in Atlanta, GA handling teletype orders and customer service. She went to work for Doctors Hospital in 1970 filing insurance claims and worked for about 10 years. She was a long time member of Rehoboth Baptist Church in Tucker, GA.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the many thoughts and prayers expressed on Wynelle’s behalf during her long illness. Family and friends may visit between 11AM-1PM on Dec 5, 2013 at Floral Hills Funeral Home at 3150 Lawrenceville Hwy Tucker, GA 30084 with the celebration of her life service following at 1PM. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.
