Aileen (Mickey) Hunter was born in Mattoon, Illinois to Ethel Rosetta Montgomery and Jesse Hill, both preceding her in death. Her family consisted of 7 brothers and sisters: Buddy Lockhart/Mildred of Detroit, MI; Leevend I. Hill (Brenda) of Tucson, AZ; Catherine Spates (Preston); Rosie Lee Hunter (George) of Seattle, WA; Willie Brenda Neal (Shirley) of Hattiesburg, MA; Roosevelt Hill and Freddie Mae Robinso who proceeded her in death.

Mickey moved to Tucson, AZ from Clarksdale, MS at the age of 16, where not long after she met and married the love of her life, Leroy Hunter Jr. In this precious union of 32 years, yet friends for a lifetime, five children were born; Anthony Fitzgerald Hunter, Leroy Hunter III, Mark Fitzgerald Hunter, each of whom sadly preceded her in death. Survived by Marlene Patreace Hunter and Derrick Edward Hunter. Mickey is also survived by what she referred to as her honorary children Tony, Terry and Monikah Hunter.

Grandchildren Ashley N. Hunter, Alexa R. Hunter, Leroy Hunter IV, Markaya Hunter, Derrick Hunter Jr., Quentin Hunter, Dayvion Hunter and Mark Hunter.

Two great-grandchildren, LaRayah Hunter and Saniya Hunter, as well as a host of additional family members and friends.
