

Albert Charles Clark 70, of Tucson, Arizona passed away at his home on January 9, 2022. He was the first son of Lambert Joseph Clark and Margaret Clark (née Sanchez). He attended Safford and Rincon High schools.
Albert served his country with great pride as a veteran of the Vietnam War serving two tours as a Field Artillery Batteryman in the 4th Battalion of the 11th Marine Regiment. First enlisting in July of 1969, he achieved the rank of Corporal and received an honorable discharge in December of 1978. For his service to his country, he was awarded the Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and National Defense Service Medal. We thank him for his dedicated service.
Albert became a Knight in December of 2009 for Saint Augustine Council #15376 and the Archbishop Daniel J. Gerke Assembly #16. He was a former Deputy Grand Knight and served on various committees that benefited the Cathedral. He was very well-loved and respected by his Brother Knights. He served as Captain Usher of Saint Augustine Cathedral.
Albert is preceded in death by his father Lambert Joseph Clark, mother Margaret "Maggie" Sanchez Clark, brother Harold Rucker, sister Shirley Huerta (Gilbert), and nephew Chris John Yanez.
He is survived by his son Matthew Clark, daughter-in-law Hannah Read and his grandchildren Raina Lucia Read-Clark and Henry Yrique Read-Clark. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Eloise Yanez, Anna Marie (Paul) Lujan, Christine Herreras, Joseph and Danny (Angie) Clark, and his half-brothers Robert and David (Misha) Clark.
Also survived by nieces and nephews Christine (Gary), Sandy(Jeff), Henry, Paula (Frank), Paul Jr, Patti, Diane, Cecilia, Andrea, Michelle, Dallas (Jason), DeAna, Robert II, David, Jamie and Rachel.
Great nieces and nephews Gary, Robbie, Bianca, Ashley (Angel), Renee, Hanky, Amanda (Joey), Adrianna, Panchito, Gabriel, Arianna, Jacob, PJ, Annalise, Veronica, Caesar, Elliana, Julian, Esai, Cabri, Bella, Araya and Emerson.
Great-grand nieces & nephews Holden, Oliver, Willow, Jordan, Maya, Kaila, Anthony, Jianna, Joe, Juliette, Aidan and David.
We will treasure our memories of our father, grandfather, brother, nino, and tío. Descanse En Paz.
Viewing will be Thursday, January 20th, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 pm (4:00-5:00 pm reserved for family) at the Funeraria del Angel University location (Stone & University). Rosary 9:30 a.m. and Mass of the Resurrection 10:00 a.m. will be held Friday, January 21st, 2022 at St. Augustine's Cathedral at 192 South Stone, Tucson, Arizona. Please note due to COVID concerns masks will be required. Military burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
