Soon after Alex Q Bejarano, age 88, of Tucson, AZ also passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Alex was born on April 26, 1935, in Patagonia AZ.
Graveside services will be held October 20th, 2023 at 1pm. East Lawn Cemetery on 5801 E Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85712 . We will be placing both Terry and Alex together at last with Military honors for my father who retired from and served over 20 years in the Air Force.
Theresa (Terry) Bejarano, born on April 6, 1937, entered into rest on May 14, 2023. At the time of her passing she was survived by her husband, Alejandro (Cano/BJ/Alex) and her daughter Melissa Haas (Greg). Over the years, Terry traveled to many states and overseas since her husband, Alejandro, was serving his many years in the Air Force. She enjoyed going to new places but did not enjoy the packing and moving. She worked at the different bases they were stationed at, and eventually retired from her school bus driving job. But her passion was bingo and the casino’s. After her husband’s retirement, they settled back in Tucson, AZ and you could always find her at the Elks Club or Knights of Columbus playing bingo. Even as her lung disease worsened, she was determined to get to bingo. Terry loved to play cards also. If you stopped by their house for a visit, you would find a card table in the middle of the living room where she and her husband would always play cards during the day. She will be missed by many family members and friends.
Alejandro (Cano) Bejarano was born on April 26, 1935, and entered into rest on August 29, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife Theresa and is survived by his daughter Melissa Haas (Greg), sisters Irene, Romelia, Eva, Adriana, Ofrecia and brother Joe. Cano retired from the Air Force after serving over 25 years. He was stationed in many bases in the states and overseas. He returned to Tucson, AZ after his retirement but he wasn’t quite ready to retire so he went to work at Hughes, now known as Raytheon and retired from there after 20 years. Cano enjoyed going hunting with his brothers and nephews, shopping ALOT on qvc/hsn and working outside his house. Every Christmas you could drive by their home, and it would be fully decorated, even the roof. He also enjoyed playing cards and watching his game shows on TV. He will be missed by many family members and friends.
Both Alex and Terry loved their many of dogs they owned, and any memorial donations can be made to Pima animal care center (PACC) https://www.pima.gov/2286/Donate or
