Amanda Rhodes Greer

She is survived by her husband Paul Greer Sr. of Tucson, AZ; son Paul (Wanona) Greer Jr. of Ogden, UT; daughters Teresa (Charles) Jones of Hillsboro, TX; Sharon Szakacs of Mesa, AZ; Deborah (Mark) Johns of River View, FL; and her beloved Boston Terrier Tiki.

Amanda and Paul were married in Lexington, KY on June 27, 1953. They have been married fifty-eight years.

She was educated in KY, graduated from Henry Clay High School in Lexington, and attended the University of Kentucky.

They resided in Lexington for three years. When Paul reenlisted in 1956, they became an Army family until he retired in 1976 at Fort Hood, TX. She served with her husband and children in numerous locations in Germany and throughout the United States. They were a square dancing family and danced in Europe and throughout the United States.

She will be missed by family and friends all over the world.

Funeral services will be Friday, Feb 10: a viewing for family and friends at 2:00 pm, and the service at 3:00 pm at East Lawn Palms Mortuary at 5801 E. Grant Rd. in Tucson.
