Barbara Stephens Beverly

Barbara Stephens Beverly passed away peacefully on June 21st, 2016 at her home in Tucson, AZ. She had a twin sister who preceded her in death. She attended Point Loma High, then Pasadena Junior College and graduated from UCLA in 1941. She started her career at Bullocks Wilshire and became a buyer. She sailed on the Queen Elizabeth to tour Europe on her own. She married Burt Beverly Jr. from Pasadena in 1951 and they were married in Rome, Italy. She had four children in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. They moved to Switzerland in Unterseen and Pully. She moved back to the states and settled in Tucson AZ and became a realtor for 17 years. After Burt passed away she met a gentleman in 1993, Elder James, with whom she spent 15 wonderful years. He passed in 2008. In 2010 she moved to the Forum with her friend June and made many new friends with her kind, caring and compassionate heart and her warm and wonderful smile. She lived her last 9 months with her daughter Barbara Quintana. She is survived by her four children, Alynne Beverly Hanford, children Christine and Sean of Keller, TX, Norman Beverly of Tucson, AZ, Barbara Beverly Quintana (Joe) children Ryan Davis(Genevieve) of Tucson, AZ, Craig Davis(Jennifer) of Houston, TX, Gwen Davis, child Keaira of Tucson, AZ, Teresa Beverly Vargas(Eric) of Long Beach, CA, child Erin Clayden(Andy) of Phoenix AZ. Elder James' children; Steven James(Darcy) of Walnut, CA sons Peter of Venice Beach, CA and Lincoln, of San Diego, CA, Valerie James Hunter(Ron) children Emma and Jessica of Tucson, AZ and preceded in death by daughter Gail, and survived by granddaughter Jacqueline of Napa, CA and grandson David of Shanghai, China.
