I read about Barbara in the CTRA newsletter. I was saddened to hear that she died so young.  Barbara and I job shared at the City of Tucson in Public Buildings.  I wanted to go to school and work part-time and she was pregnant and wanted to have more time to be with her children.  It was a win-win situation for both of us.  We worked hard as a team to make sure all the work got done on time.  

One day we will see each other again in that mansion in the sky.  I will be praying for all of her family.

She will be missed. I had just talked to her she told me everything was good. Then I get a call and I was told what happened. Totally took me for surprise . The time we did spend together was eventful between work and  hanging out. I just recently lost my father and I know what it is like to lose a loved one. My prayers are with you and your family.

I checked my phone earlier… my last Conversation with your mom was on the 7th and as always we spoke for hours. I was happy to hear from her as we had a lot of catching up to do! She was happy to be feeling better and get back to work! Ironically the following day Richie asked me have you heard from Barbara and I said yes yesterday! He has many fond memories with you two and has been thinking lots about you! I hope you know just how much your mom loved you kiddos. You were her pride and joy and her grandkids …  oh my goodness they were her life and joy!

Barbara I will miss our chats, Our breakfasts, our hours of conversation and our laughs!!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you! May God wrap his arms around you and  bless you all with strength during this very difficult time!

So true, your mom laughed loudly, forgave quickly and Loved. If I could take time to show how many laughs we had it would be forever in time. Your Mom Loved you. She would cock her head upand say ohhh my kids. 
I have to say I'm going to miss her. 
I'm a little upset, we were supposed to have breakfast at Franks she was going to tell me a secret. Now I must wait till I see her again. Another laugh she is adding to her collection.

Mi vesina voy   Estranar.    Everyday I wait for your knock everyday I wait to see your smile.  We did for each other everyday was a struggle either for her or myself,  but if I had it she had it and if she had it I had it.  Thank you Barbara.  I miss you my neighbor my friend. Our condolences to the Garza Lucero family. We met in our neighborhood hood where we grew up, we would go to each other homes , we played ball & we talk, laugh, as we kept getting older  we no longer played games but we continued to  talk & laugh  walking to the bus to go to school  and getting off school bus, to go home,  the Garza lived in Nevada St.  we  live on Irvington ,  once we got to high school we had separate friends but still stayed in touch, after high school we all went our separate ways way then we got in contact in FB.
