Benjamin Edward Garcia Sr.

Born June 02, 1949 in Tucson Arizona, Passed away August 11, 2018 at home.

Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Graduated from Pueblo High School in 1967.

Drafted in the U.S. Army April 1967. Served in Chiulie Vietnam April 1967 - April 1969 as a "U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps" responsible for the retrieval, identification and transportation of deceased American and American Allied Military Personnel.

After serving, Benny married his best friend and one true love Rosalinda, Together they had 2 sons: Benjamin Jr. and Nathaniel, and one daughter: Tanya.

Benny was blessed with 5 grandchildren: Sabrina, Anthony, Nathalie, Christopher and Nayellie.

Benny had a great love for animals including his 2 dogs and 2 cats. He loved the outdoors whether it be fishing, Camping or Hunting. Benny was a true example of a great Husband/Father/Grandfather, he always made sure his family was taken care of. He was full of jokes, he had a way to make you laugh, he always carried a smile on his face. Everyone that knew him carries a story/joke and just burst into laughter. Benny has left us all with wonderful memories that will continue in honor of his life.

Services will be held Thursday August 16, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel from 5pm-10pm. Rosary will begin at 6:30pm

Monday August 20, 2018 there will be a meet to follow at 9am from Funeraria Del Angel to Holy Hope Cemetery. If you would like to meet a the Cemetery please arrive at 10am to lay Benny to eternal rest and peace.
