Bessie Raptis McCoy passed away on October 21, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie McCoy and daughter, Patricia Hanson. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Kolb; niece and nephew, Debra (Doug) Jones and Jeff Kolb, both of Tucson; Martha (Don) Rice of Ahwatukee; Julie Capra and Janet King of Michigan and Raymond Raptis of Connecticut. Bess was born in Manchester, NH on October 28, 1922 and grew up in New Haven, CT. She was very proud of her Greek heritage. While living in Tucson, Bess sang with the Sweet Adelines and was a volunteer at The West and The Assistance League. Bess had a life-long interest in Antiques and was a great cook and excellent seamstress. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of your choice in Mrs. McCoy’s name would be appreciated. Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 1:30 pm at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd.
