Carol S. Lent

Born on Dec. 17, 1942, Carol passed away on July 31, 2017 surrounded by family, friends, and love in Tucson, Arizona. Carol was a former special education teacher and graduated from Trenton State Teachers College. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and she never met a stranger. Her positive attitude, optimism, kindness to others, and love of family and friends were an inspiration. Carol was very involved in the PEO organization.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, William and Kay Serwell ; and brother, Richard Serwell.

She is survived by her loving husband, James A. Lent; son, Michael Lent and wife, Stacey; son, Jeffrey Lent and wife, Josephine; and grandchildren: James, Joey, Jerime, Pee Wee, and Roy, all of Tucson. Carol is also survived by brothers, Bill Serwell of Pineville, PA and Tom Serwell (Margaret) of Dexter, MI.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 pm on Friday, August 11, 2017 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, Tucson, AZ.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Immaculate Heart Chapel, 625 E. Magee, Tucson, AZ with a reception to follow at 1:15 pm at The Lodge at Ventana Canyon.

Donations can be made in Carol’s name to Peppi’s House Hospice.
