Celina F. Castro

Celina Francine Castro, 55, of San Manuel, AZ was born Feb. 11th, 1966 in Douglass, AZ. She gained her angel wings and entered the gates of heaven on Nov. 22, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family in San Manuel, AZ as she was called home to the Lord.

Celina was a previous 35 year resident of San Manuel, AZ. She graduated from the San Manuel high school in 1984 and married the love of her life, Paul Jr., two days later. The couple eventually moved to Elko, NV in 2001, but she always considered Arizona to be home.

She worked as a veterinary technician at Mesquite Veterinary Hospital for several years before becoming a stay at home mom. She always loved her family and one of her greatest joys was raising a family. Celina also enjoyed being a chef and could always be found in the kitchen cooking up a new recipe.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Paul Jr. Castro; children Paul Joseph (Liz), Zoee (Alex), and Rylee (Sethe); grandchildren Julius, Lyzette, Larissa, and Jeremih; siblings Saul (Lisa), Sabryna (Gilbert), and Valerie (Freddy); parents Manny and Velma Estrada; In laws Paul Sr. and Irene Castro; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Grandparents and Aunt Cynthia Tinsley.

A celebration of life will be held at Santa Catalina Catholic Church on December 11th, 2021 at 11 AM. Family requests that all guests wear yellow preferably or white per Celina’s last request. Address is 14380 N Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85739. The memorial mass will be live streamed for all who cannot attend in person.
