Clarence Edward Potter, Jr. (Ed), a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and retired army veteran, passed away on April 23, 2024, in Tucson, AZ, at the age of 71. He was born on December 17, 1952, in Bloomsburg, PA, to the late Clarence and Mary Potter.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife of over 40 years, Terri Potter; his daughters, Robin and Jo and two son in laws all of Colorado Springs; 5 cherished grandchildren; a sister; and two brothers in Pennsylvania. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
After serving almost 18 years in the army, Ed retired due to health reasons and later worked at a high school in Colorado Springs before enjoying his retirement years in Green Valley, AZ, with his wife, Terri. Ed was known for his dedication to his family, his sense of humor, and his love for fishing.
A memorial service to celebrate Ed's life will take place this summer in Colorado Springs, where part of his ashes will be sprinkled at his favorite fishing spot, as per his wishes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any charitable donations be made to military charities such as the VFW, Hero Expeditions (HEX), or Wounded Warriors, in honor of Ed's service and dedication to his country.
